Surah Ya Sin (Ya Sin) 36 : 23

ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّى شَفَٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِ

Explanatory Note

The man then looks at the opposite way, which is contrary to sound nature, only to find that it is nothing but manifest error:

“Should I worship other deities beside Him? If the Lord of Grace should will that harm befall me, their intercession will avail me nothing, nor will they save me.” (Verse 23)
