Guideline - Qur'an Wiki

Please follow some of the following guidelines when submitting entries to the Qur'an Wiki.

The Approver will look to the following guidelines. Does the new edit:
- Improve the grammar/wording of the existing text
- Enhance understanding of the Ayat
- Must be factually correct
- Must not contradict the Qur'an and Sunnah
- Not espouse unnecessary differences of opinion.
Use correct spellings and standardized Arabic spelling of names. Please refer to our recommended list.
Avoid naming scholars in the body of the text. Mention them in the footnote 'references'
Do not use this as a cut and paste exercise. Use hyperlinks to other sites where the content may already exist.
Currently, the footnote 'references' section is not correctly working please use the folllowing method [Ref:........]
If you quote an Ayat please use curved brackets, so we can automate the link to the Ayat in Quran Wiki. Example (18:4)
