Surah al-Fajr (The Dawn ) 89 : 25

فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌ

Explanatory Note

The surah goes on to portray man’s fate after his desperate sighing and useless wishing. It is God Almighty who inflicts His incomparable punishment, and who binds as no one can bind. This divine punishment and binding are explained in detail in other parts of the Qur’an, but the reference here is very brief, stressing mainly their incomparability to human action.
