Surah Qaf (Qaf) 50 : 22

لَّقَدْ كُنتَ فِى غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هَٰذَا فَكَشَفْنَا عَنكَ غِطَآءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ حَدِيدٌ

[It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp."

Explanatory Note

In this extremely difficult situation, the person is told: "Of this you have been unmindful, but We have lifted your veil and sharp is your sight today." There is nothing to blur your eyesight now You can see clearly. This is the appointed time you ignored, the position you have not reckoned with, the end you did not expect. You can look all around you for your sight is now sharp indeed.
