أُذِنَ لِلَّذِينَ يُقَٰتَلُونَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ظُلِمُوا۟ ۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ نَصْرِهِمْ لَقَدِيرٌ
Saheeh Int. : Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory.

Description
<p><strong>Explanatory Note</strong></p> <p>He has judged their position to be fully justified, because they are the ones who have endured injustice and persecution. They do not resort to aggression against others: <strong>“Permission to fight is given to those against whom war is waged, because they have been wronged.”</strong> Because they are the ones at the receiving end of wrongful aggression, they are reassured that God will grant them His support and protection: <strong>“Most certainly, God has the power to grant them victory.”</strong></p>
